Domaine Modat
The winery is located in Cassagnes, in Roussillon. This is one of the southern most place in France. In a location that hardly sees rain… and yet. The wines are balanced, fresh, not overripe. Domaine Modat is working organic with minimalist intervention. The wines are always cristal pure and never overwhelming.

Usually Roussillon producers excels in red wines. Which is the case here with many beautiful cuvées but unlike most of them, Domaine Modat produces brillant white wine.
We have selected only one of them but they have three cuvées. Each of them bears freshness and fragrant expression. No trace of the usual oxydation and anise of southern style white wine. Simply excellent.
